I'm a professional photographer & website designer in Des Moines, IA! 

I specialize in professional headshots, event photography, and brand photography. I also offer website design services and create website and social media templates to help you elevate your online presence. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and am passionate about small business. To put it simply, I love everything about it – the creativity, the people, and the journey of being a small business owner. I started this business in 2009 and have savored every minute of it. The triumphs and the setbacks, the risks, and the rewards. It has all fueled my motivation in growing my success and in helping other business owners showcase theirs to the world too.

Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Business and formal education in both photography and graphic design, I'm a firm believer in continuous learning. This love for ongoing education has shaped both my life and career, influencing its trajectory in various ways. Because of this, I’m known for being ahead of the curve on trends and technology and can help you stay at the front of the pack too. Whether you're here for photography, a new website, or graphic design, the bottom line is this: my job is to make you look good. And, I'm pretty damn good at it.

A few recent projects

On a more personal note

I'm a mom, an animal lover & an endlessly inspired soul. I can easily get myself interested in just about anything and love to jump right in. Lifetime learner. Music over TV. I’m that classic creative type with a forever messy desk. I’m quirky and kind and will always offer to help, but rarely ask for any myself (working on that one). I’m the funny friend. I change my hair too often for people to keep up with. I can make Excel do just about anything you want, but refuse to do math in my head. I love working and truly find joy in it. I'm one of the unlucky 3% of the world that can't visualize in images (aphantasia) so my creativity is conceptual and comes in fully formed thoughts and sentences. I think photos are one of the most important things in the world.
