Information Gathering
To kickstart your web design project efficiently, ensure you have ready: login credentials for domain and hosting, high-resolution images, well-organized text content, logo, color scheme, and brand guidelines. Additionally, provide any legal considerations or ownership details upfront.

Design Process & Collaboration
Get ready for a little homework! You’ll receive a design questionnaire to gather the details I’ll need to build your site both aesthetically and strategically. If you’re doing a fully custom site we’ll start with building the framework of your site, while template customization clients will begin with adding content to a pre-built site, making minimal layout changes – if any. Throughout the project, count on open communication channels for a seamless collaboration.

Handoff & Launch
Once we have tested all of the functionality, the site will go live. We’ll all high five and do a little happy dance to celebrate. Then its back to work as I walk you through using your new site. You’ll be prepared to take care of any of the small tweaks or updates you need to make on your own.

I do offer copyrighting services as an add-on option, but if that is not elected at purchase you will need to provide and will be responsible for proofreading all content.

II will send you a link to a personal google drive folder with concise instructions on what images/media and copy to provide for each page. You will also need to provide me with the login for your host and domain information as we transition the site to you. Lastly, you will receive a questionnaire that I will use to build the framework of your branding/website.

Nope! I know this can all be overwhelming and I know there are a ton of great templates out there too. I’m happy to do the customization for you on any WordPress or Squarespace template.

You will be in charge of your own hosting and domain name and the associated costs. I can provide recommendations to you if you need assistance choosing a company. This leaves you in full control of your website and is the most cost effective route we can take.

Photography is an add-on service for an additional cost. But ideally, I will photograph at least part of the photos that will be featuring on your new site. This allows me to back into the visuals that we need after we have the framework for your new site in place and ensures a consistent level of quality throughout the site. That is not a requirement, however, and you can purchase web design services either with or without photography services.

Your website will be set up with basic SEO in place, but I do not offer advanced and/or ongoing SEO services.

Absolutely! I’m a process improvement junkie and am always looking for ways to streamline, simplify, and ensure consistency in my work and yours.

Absolutely! You will receive training on how to use and made basic changes to your website, but you are always welcome to reach out for smaller projects to add on to your existing site. If your vision or business evolves over time and you need to make larger changes, I would love to be a part of the next phase with you. I am never offended by change and will always cheer on the growth and evolution of the businesses I serve.
